Making Room for Rest (Advent thought)

Making Room for Rest means recognizing that Advent is a time to stop what you’re doing long enough to allow a holy interruption to break the noise of your busy life.  Sabbath-rest is a vital part of proceeding into the Advent.  Scripture teaches us to regularly find a place of rest in Christ, Who refreshes us and prepares us for what is ahead. Making Room means stopping long enough to listen to the Holy Spirit and know what His will is for you.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."-Psalm 46:10(NIV)
